Bergholt Bomb Along

Training continued last weekend with a spin out to Rendlesham with Justine on Saturday followed by the Bergholt Bomb Along sportive with Alan on Sunday.

Alan and I even made it onto the Eastern Daily Press website!

It was a great ride with good weather and a nice course and fast pace.

Unfortunately my bike has got some mechanical issues so it has gone to bike hospital for a few days so I’ll not be able to get out for a while.

Please do take the opportunity to make a donation or guess my finishing time – all proceeds go to the Stroke Association. Thank you.

Guess my finishing time and win!

You can now guess my RideLondon finishing time for a chance to win some cash!

Please visit my Guess2Give page for more information.

It only costs £5 per entry with proceeds going to the Stroke Association.

Thames Bridges and more

Training is going well and I’m gradually upping my milage each week so that I’ll be ready for August.

It was great to take part in the Stroke Association Thames Bridges ride a couple of weeks ago with Justine, Jack and Louise. It was a great experience to wind our way along the Thames crossing it numerous times.

Here’s some pictures of us at the finish.

Here’s the Strava map showing where we went and the time Jack and I finished in (Louise and Justine were slightly slower)
